Hunter grew up in Jackson, MS, where he attended Jackson Prep and played football, soccer, and baseball. After high school Hunter went on to play baseball at Millsaps College, where we was a three time All-American, 2 time conference player of the year, and a member of the D3baseball.com All-Decade team. After college he played two years of professional Independent baseball, which is when he discovered CrossFit during his offseason training. He quickly fell in love with competing and went on to qualify for the South Central Regional four times as an individual and for the South Regional twice as an athlete and coach of Team Coyote CrossFit. Hunter opened Coyote CrossFit in March 2013 because he had a passion for helping people and saw a need in Madison, MS.
